Voter Registration Went to The Dogs In Ballston Spa!
My Dog Votes™, the company with a mission of Saving Dogs & Democracy™, and the Dog Federation Of New York (DFNY), conducted the first ever “My Dog Votes™ Voter Registration Drive” in conjunction with the Southern Adirondack Dog Club Show, and kicking off the My Dog Votes™ National Voter Registration Partner Program.
This unique voter registration event took place at the Southern Adirondack Kennel Club’s dog show on Saturday, August 12th at the Saratoga County Fairgrounds in Ballston Spa, New York, and marked the first ever “My Dog Votes™ Voter Registration Drive” in the country.
Mahlon Goer of The Dog Federation Of New York, an Official My Dog Votes™ Voter Registration Partner, and John Ioia, President of The Southern Adirondack Dog Club, helped to conduct My Dog Votes™ Voter Registration Drive during the dog show.
Pam Burns, a DFNY member, President of the Albany Kennel Club and Legislative Liaison for the Doberman Pinscher Club Of America, also was on hand to help register voters.
Pam states, “Our clubs are extremely dedicated to the highest standards of animal welfare for our pets. We love them, they’re our family members, and we can think of a better reason to get involved”.
We couldn't have picked a better day - it was sunny and beautiful. Everyone, and we mean everyone, LOVED the My Dog Votes booth.
By the way - Pam's beautiful Doberman is a registered voter :-)
