I love the poem to you on the DogPolitics blog.

But despite your win, your ambassadorship for your breed,

We must still fight ignorance, cheap politics and media greed,

To keep bullykind from extinction, Rotties and Dobes probably too,

Why is it that humans don’t understand you?

These ignorant folk just don’t understand
That bullies love humans, suffer so much at their hands
And yet still give kisses and loyalty unswerving
Most humans, to my mind, are totally undeserving.

Owners of dogs other than bullies must know
That their dogs will be next, their breeds will go
If they don’t stand with us in this fight
And battle until we see the light at the end of this dark night.
